Description

This both one of the easiest and one of the hardest objects in the sky. It's easy to get data but it's hard to process because of the high dynamic range and wide range of complex colors. This is a crop of a wide field HDR shot taken with a C14 with Hyperstar at about F/2. Look closely and you'll see that at the core the Trapezium was fully resolved. I don't know if this shot does M42 justice but it's always fun to try. C&C always welcome. Enjoy...
